Charge overnight in your own garage. We install Tesla Wall Connectors, Level 2 chargers, and NEMA 14-50 outlets — sized to your panel, permitted, and done in a day.
The number one mistake in EV charger installs is skipping the load calculation. A 60-amp charger circuit is a huge load — on many Houston homes with a 100 or 150-amp panel, adding it without doing the math means nuisance trips at best and overheated service conductors at worst. We calculate your actual capacity first, then recommend the charger amperage that fits, or a load-management device or panel upgrade if it doesn't.
We install for every EV brand. If you haven't bought a charger yet, we'll tell you what we'd put in our own garage at each price point. If you have one sitting in a box, we'll install that. Either way you get a clean, code-compliant install with the wire run tucked out of sight wherever possible.
Most installs run $650–$1,800 depending on distance from the panel, wall construction, and charger amperage. Long runs to detached garages or installs requiring a panel upgrade cost more. You get an exact written price before we start.
In most Houston-area jurisdictions, a new dedicated circuit for EV charging requires an electrical permit. We handle the permit and inspection as part of the job.
That's exactly what the load calculation answers. Many homes can support a 32–48 amp charger as-is; some need load management or a panel upgrade. We tell you before you spend anything on equipment.
A 14-50 outlet is cheaper and flexible, but is limited to 32-amp continuous charging and requires a GFCI breaker that some chargers dislike. Hardwiring supports up to 48 amps and is more reliable. We'll recommend based on your car and driving habits.
One call covers both trades. Licensed, insured, and local to Houston. Tell us what's going on and we'll give you a straight answer and a straight price.
